MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been impacted by his international impact. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. The album peaked at the rank of eighteen in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. He worked alongside Noriel for Mala Influencia in 2020 and next year, dropped his sophomore album charting Dopamina. Later, in 2021, the singer sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. He appeared in 2023 with 2000, featuring the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo is a musician who was born in a home with a music program. Both his parents were also musicians. In interviews he has described playing music as an obligation. In his early years, he learned to play the saxophone and the ukulele, and piano. At first, he wanted to become a vet, but after his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons with a Cuban musician, he rearranged his goals for his future career.
